Privacy notice

Effective 15 October 2026.

This notice explains what personal data FairSqft collects, why, and what you can do about it. It follows the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, "PDPL").

Who we are

FairSqft (fairsqft.com) is a product of Clickwise, operated by SOFT DEV FZ LLC, a Free Zone Limited Liability Company licensed by the Fujairah Creative City Free Zone Authority (licence No. 9485/2016), Fujairah – Twin Towers, P.O. Box 4422, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. SOFT DEV FZ LLC is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@fairsqft.com.

What we collect

  • Broker applications (the Founding Experts form): name, BRN, brokerage, optional office registration number, work email, optional mobile number, communities, years of experience, languages, any note you add, and the choices you tick.
  • Questions (the Ask form): your question, the community and topic, optional first name, email, and the choices you tick.
  • Emails you send us at hello@fairsqft.com.
  • Brokers we invite: if we contacted you about the Founding Experts programme, by email or by WhatsApp message, it is because you had previous dealings with our team — for example, you contacted us first. We use only your name and your business email or mobile number, only to invite you. Our messages say they come from FairSqft, and some are written by FairSqft's AI assistant, which says so. We never call. Reply STOP, or tell us, and we will never contact you again.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not set cookies of our own.

Property prices and rents on the site come from open government data about transactions, not from people's profiles.

Why we use it, and on what basis

Each choice on our forms is separate, and none is pre-ticked:

  • Contact — to reply to your application or question. This is required to submit a form, because we cannot answer without it.
  • Interview (brokers, optional) — to record a short interview and draft a guide credited to you.
  • Publication (brokers, optional) — to publish your name, BRN, brokerage and the content you approve. Nothing is published until you approve the final text.
  • Publishing a question (buyers, optional) — to publish your question without your name or email, with the answer.
  • Putting you in touch with a broker (buyers, optional) — to share your first name, email and question with one verified broker.

We also check a broker's BRN against the public register of the Dubai Land Department before publishing a profile. We keep a record of which version of the consent text you agreed to.

Who receives it

  • Google Cloud / Firebase hosts the site and stores form submissions (database region: Doha, Qatar — me-central1) as our processor.
  • Forward Email forwards mail sent to hello@fairsqft.com to our team's mailbox, and Resend delivers the emails we send; both act as processors.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) carries the WhatsApp messages we send to or receive from brokers.
  • A broker, only if you ask to be put in touch.

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. Some of these providers may process data outside the UAE; where that happens we rely on their contractual data-protection commitments, as the PDPL allows.

How long we keep it

  • Broker applications that do not go ahead: deleted 12 months after the application.
  • Founding Experts: kept while you take part, and deleted 24 months after our last interaction, unless you ask sooner.
  • Questions: deleted 24 months after we answer. A published question stays published without your name or email unless you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or stop processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and you can withdraw any consent at any time — withdrawing one choice does not affect the others. Write to hello@fairsqft.com; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Security

Form submissions go over an encrypted connection to a database that the public cannot read; access is limited to the people who review applications and questions.

Children

FairSqft is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date above. If a change affects choices you made, we will ask you again.
